Jeannie Krull, MS/CCC-SLP, ATP, CAPS, is the Executive Director of ATAP, the national Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs. ATAP plays a crucial role in supporting a nationwide network of Assistive Technology Act Programs, which help individuals with disabilities and service providers access essential assistive technology (AT) for education, employment, and independent living. Ms. Krull is an ASHA-certified speech/language pathologist, a RESNA-certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) who has worked with people of all ages and disabilities since 1991. Jeannie spent the first part of her career working for a private practice as a speech pathologist, specializing in many areas, in multiple settings to include clinics, schools, hospitals, nursing homes. From 2000 to 2025, she worked for North Dakota Assistive, a non-profit company that houses the state’s Assistive Technology Act program and many other assistive technologyrelated programs in various roles, including Assistive Technology Consultant, Funding and Policy Specialist, AT Act Program Director, and Assistant Executive Director. In addition, she is a 2019 Bush Foundation Fellow, past Chair of the Board of ATAP, and an ATIA Strand Advisor for the Aging and AT Strand. She is also an Advisory Board Member for TechSage RERC and the American Institutes for Research® for IDD Virtual Research.
